Designed to stop your dog from pulling, our figure of 8 head halters allow you to be back in control. Only a gentle pressure is needed to correct your dog (no jerking as this may hurt your dog’s neck) and your dog will soon learn that they can’t get their weight behind them and pull.
Our leads are made of high-quality 8mm rope used by professionals, due to their high-quality (stainless steel fixings), light-weight, durability, and weather-resistant, making them floatable and quick to dry. The rope material is soft, so that it doesn’t rub on your dog’s nose, but you must use gentle corrections to ensure your dog doesn’t get hurt. Using praise and treats to encourage your dog to be by your side and not in front will also speed up training and get your dog used to it quicker.
The total length of the figure of 8 lead is 2 meters, so that you can keep your dog relatively close to you and so that it can’t lunge out, thus hurting its neck. We can also make you a bespoke length and colour, just contact us with your requirements.
Note: Get your dog used to the figure of 8 lead at home, encouraging it to walk beside you with praise and/or treats to speed up the training and to avoid your dog from pawing at it. Initially, your dog will not like the sensation of something around its nose, but with gentle distraction and positive training, your dog will soon get used to it. Frequent, small training sessions are better than just putting it on and going out for a walk.

I have had my lead for a couple of weeks and both my dog and I really like. He is not a great puller but it makes life easier. The way it is designed means if he does pull off the nose part you still have him attached to a lead. More importantly it takes the pressure off from round his neck. The long lead also allows him a bit more freedom if I don’t want him to heal.
